PUMPKIN SPICE IRISH COFFEE
Sounds delicious - but wonder if making it with a strong black tea might not work just as well or better… either way, totally making this. The Spice Syrup seems like it would be a good addition to just about anything. Recipe and photo from miss make.

Homemade Pumpkin Spice Syrup
Ingredients:
1 cup water
1 cup sugar
1/4 c bourbon [optional]
1/2 c pumpkin puree
2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp ground cloves
1/2 tsp ground ginger
1/2 tsp vanilla
1. Mix everything together in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil. Reduce to a simmer and simmer for 20 minutes.2. Strain through a fine mesh sieve. Cool and store in a glass jar or bottle in the fridge.

2 tbsp pumpkin spice syrup
1 shot whiskey [I used bourbon, naturally]
1 tbsp half & half
whipped cream
